A joint investigation involving the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office, Chattanooga Police Department and the U. S. Marshall’s Office resulted in the arrest of Adam Hunnicutt.

Last night at approximately 7:00 p.m. information led investigators to the 5900 block of Porter Drive, where the fugitive had been located. When law enforcement approached the area, Hunnicutt attempted to flee into some nearby woods. After a brief search, he was found and placed in custody then transported to the Hamilton County Jail.

Hunnicutt was wanted on the outstanding charges of Felony Theft of Property and Initiating the Manufacture of Methamphetamine and had been on the HCSO “12 Most Wanted” since June 17, 2010.
