Plane crash at Dallas Bay Sky Park
A deputy with the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office was patrolling in the area of Dallas Bay Sky Park this morning around 10:00 a.m. when a 1972 Piper Aero plane overshot the runway and crashed. When Deputy Jamie Fields arrived on the scene he found the plane crashed through a fence and hit a culvert before stopping. The pilot, Robin Russell did not suffer any injuries and there appeared to be minor damage to the front of the plane.
