Three arrested on drug charges

On October 14, 2010, a traffic stop in the 8400 block of Hixson Pike made by Detectives with the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics and K-9 Divisions resulted in three parties being charged. These arrests are the result of an on-going Methamphetamine investigation in and around the Sequoyah Hills/Dallas Oaks area of Hamilton County.
During the stop components used to manufacture methamphetamine was discovered and the three occupants of the vehicle identified as Randy “Lee” Morgan age 21, Robert Stanley Vaughan age 21 and Jacob Rose age 19 were arrested.
Morgan and Rose were charged with Promoting the Process to Manufacture Methamphetamine, Felony Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Unlawful Possession or Carrying of a Weapon (.45 caliber semi-auto pistol and brass knuckles). Vaughan was charged with Promoting the Process to Manufacture Methamphetamine and Felony Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
The investigation is on-going and being handled by the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics and Special Operations Division.
