Sheriff Hammond would like to offer a formal media briefing on the Information Desk in the Courts Building which is staffed by sheriff’s office volunteers. This briefing will take place on Tuesday, October 26 at 10:00 a.m. The Courts Building is located at 600 Market Street, and the Information Desk is located on the first floor.

The volunteers working at this location provide great assistance and a positive experience to many of the hundreds of people who move through this building each day. The services offered by this program are much more than you might imagine, and they directly impact the security of the Courts Building. Also, our newest volunteer is the wife of a Volkswagen of America VIP. She is scheduled to be working at this time.
