Cheerleading & Dance Competition at Soddy Daisy High to benefit HCSO toy d
On Saturday December 4, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Soddy Daisy High School located at 618 Sequoyah Access Road there will be a Cheerleading and Dance competition to benefit the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office “Caring Cops Toy Drive.”
“We’ve Got Spirit,” a business located at 4740 Hwy. 58 has organized this competition and partnered with HCSO to assist in the department’s annual Christmas toy drive. This competition includes: All Star teams, Recreation teams and area school teams who will be involved in the cheerleading and dance events. Each girl attending from ages 4 to high school are required to bring an unwrapped toy. With over 500 girls signed up to take part in the competition, this will be a wonderful success and all toys collected will be delivered to the “Forgotten Child Fund” warehouse to benefit the children of Hamilton County.
The Soddy Daisy High School Cheerleaders, who are three time State Champs and hold a National title will also hostess this event and perform during the competition.
“Santa” will be dropping in and it is rumored that the “Christmas Grinch” is planning to sneak around, maybe to try and steal some toys. Everyone is invited to attend and support this toy push to help make Christmas a happy time for our children.
