A great time was had by all involved with the “Cops & Kids” shopping that was held Saturday, December 11, 2010 at the Hwy 153 Toys R Us. The store was full of kids and law enforcement shopping for toys.

This is an event held each year supported by the Fraternal Order of Police with officers from Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office and Chattanooga Police Department. Each child is paired up with an officer and the shopping begins. Some children came prepared with sale papers marked in bold ink highlighting what is first on their list.

Of course to top it off, Santa was there to make sure everyone had a Merry Christmas.
