The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office was called to 1700 Dallas Lake Road today at approximately 12:00 p.m. on a single vehicle crash. On arrival at the scene, it was found that the 17 year old female driver suffered head and facial injuries and was transported to Erlanger Hospital via Life Force.

Traffic Investigator Sgt. David Tittle advised that the driver of the 1997 Ford Explorer was traveling east on Dallas Lake Road and lost control. The vehicle ran partially off the roadway striking a driveway culvert and two mailboxes. The vehicle then crossed the road and into a ditch striking another driveway culvert and became airborne. The vehicle continued on making contact with a television cable line and a chain link fence before it rolled several times coming to rest in a ditch.

The driver of the vehicle was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle.
