HCSO Narcotics arrest on in door marijuana grow
Information received by a Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Detective earlier this afternoon resulted in a Narcotics search warrant being served at 627 Bell Ave. in North Chattanooga. The result of the investigation and search warrant was a large in-door Marijuana grow which included two rooms filled with equipment used to facilitate the growing of marijuana plants along with a large number of growing marijuana plants. The equipment was valued at approximately $30,000, growing plants valued at approximately $150,000. Found in the kitchen area of the home was numerous plastic bags filled with marijuana weighing one pound each along with scales and other equipment. This high grade marijuana would cost about $4000 a pound.
James Ryan Bellottie w/m age 29 was found in the home at 627 Bell Ave. and charged with Felony Drug Paraphernalia, Felony Possession of Marijuana for Resale and Felony Manufacturing Marijuana. He was transported to the Hamilton County Jail for booking.
