The traffic release from Saturday, April 30, 2011 regarding the fatal traffic crash at 11600 Birchwood Pike will be updated with the release of the victims names. The driver of the 1990 Honda Accord was identified as Anna Pekala w/f age 28 of Birchwood and her three year old son was a passenger in the vehicle.

The investigation shows that the vehicle, a 1990 Honda Accord was traveling north bound on Birchwood Pike and left the roadway for unknown reasons, striking a tree. The vehicle overturned and burst into flames.

Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Investigator, Sergeant David Tittle is in charge of the investigation.
