The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office responded to 14717 Dayton Pike yesterday afternoon, May 18, 2011 at approximately 2:00 p.m. on a reported body found. When deputies arrived on the scene, they found a w/m lying on the ground close to the residence at that address.

The party was identified as Brian Edwin Dodd w/m age 26 of Soddy Daisy, Tennessee. The deceased was transported to the Hamilton County Medical Examiner office to determine the manner and cause of death. Nothing was found to show foul play at this time, although the investigation is on-going and being conducted by the Criminal Investigations’ Division of the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office.
