HCSO arrest four for burglary
Deputies with the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office were called to 6492 Colt Lane on June 30, 2011 to investigate a reported home burglary. During the course of talking with the reporting party other victims arrived to advise their home had also been burglarized.
What appeared to be some stolen property was located behind a residence just adjacent to the victims. When the owners were contacted and speaking with law enforcement, a large amount of property was observed inside their residence. One of the occupants admitted to investigators that he had burglarized several homes in the area during the night. He also admitted to having narcotics inside the residence. The residence was secured by law enforcement while a search warrant was obtained.
Property valued at approximately $10,000 was found inside the home and several owners arrived to take custody of property they identified as belonging to them. Four subjects were arrested, (three adults and one juvenile) charged with four (4) counts of Aggravated Burglary, three (3) counts of Theft under $500, one (1) count of Theft over $500, Criminal Conspiracy, Numerous drug charges to include Marijuana, Methamphetamine and several different controlled substances (pills) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. The three adults were transported to the Hamilton County Jail while the juvenile was transported to the Hamilton County Juvenile Detention Center.
Mug shots of Adam Lawson age 26 and Brett Cannon age 20 have been attached but a mug shot of Kelsey Belcher age 20, was not available. The juveniles name will not be released. The investigation is continuing and other charges are expected.
