Lockdown at Red Bank High School
Today at approximately 9:30 a.m. the administration at Red Bank High School initiated a school lockdown. This was based on information that a student on campus was in possession of a handgun. The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office School Resource Officer, Tim Mann developed information and found the student, a sixteen year old sophomore attending class. He was asked to leave the classroom and a loaded clip for a .380 caliber semi automatic handgun was found in his front pocket. Upon checking the students backpack an unloaded .380 caliber semi automatic handgun was found.
The student was charged with Carrying a Weapon on School Property and transported to the Hamilton County Juvenile Detention Center.
