Earlier this morning at approximately 9:30 a.m. Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office was called to respond to 6009 Hillcrest Drive on a Burglary in progress. When deputies arrived on scene, the victims stated the two suspects approached the residence from the rear and forced entry into the home. Both suspects were armed with handguns and took an amount of cash from one of the victims and then fled the scene.

Responding deputies observed a tan Toyota Camry headed north on Highway 58 and stopped the vehicle. The two suspects (juveniles) one male/one female were identified by the victims and taken into custody. Based on victim statements and evidence found, both parties were charged with Especially Aggravated Robbery and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. They were transported to the Hamilton County Juvenile Detention Center.

This investigation is on-going and additional charges are pending.
