This morning at approximately 6:10 a.m. the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office was notified to respond to 15800 Coulterville Road on a pedestrian struck by a train.

When deputies arrived on the scene they found two fatalities, one male and one female. Southern Railway sent representatives to the scene and detectives with the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division will be working the deaths.

At this point in the investigation the names of the deceased will not be released to the media.

This investigation is ongoing and additional information will be released as it becomes available.
