The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office was notified at 10:49 p.m. on August 27, 2011 to respond to 10035 Birchwood Pike on a pedestrian struck. On arrival traffic investigators found that Clarence Duncan age 47, who was driving a 2000 Jeep Cherokee south bound on Birchwood Pike hit a pedestrian. Witnesses interviewed stated the victim had been observed prior to the crash running in front of their vehicles in the middle of the roadway.

The victim died from the injuries sustained in the crash. No further information will be released regarding the victim pending family notification.

The investigation is continuing and being handled by Sgt. David Tittle, Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Division.
