Deputies with the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office were called to 6200 Highway 58 early this morning at approximately 6:57 a.m. on a multiple vehicle traffic crash.

The traffic investigation into the cause of the crash shows that Cody Beavers age 20 of Dalton, Georgia was traveling north on Highway 58 in a 1999 Dodge Stratus when he traveled into the southbound lane of traffic. He sideswiped Daniel Lynn age 60, who was driving a 2006 Chevrolet Van and then struck a 1993 Chevrolet Silverado in the left side driven by Michael Spivey age 55, of Harrison. He then struck a 2011 Suzuki GXR motorcycle head on, operated by Quincy Hall age 31 of Harrison.

Mr. Hall was seriously injured in the crash and transported to an area hospital by Hamilton County Emergency Medical Services. The injuries he sustained were serious but not believed to be life threatening. None of the other parties involved in this crash were injured.

Mr. Beavers was given traffic citations for Driving Left of Center and having Expired Registration on his vehicle.
