The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office was called to investigate a traffic crash that occurred earlier this morning at approximately 1:19 a.m. in the 1000 block of Boy Scout Road.

When Deputies arrived on scene they found the crash involved a single vehicle motorcycle. The motorcycle operator of the 2007 Ninja Kawasaki was unable to negotiate a left curve and struck a concrete retaining wall on the bridge and slid several feet before coming to a rest. Evidence at the scene indicated that speed was a factor in the crash.

The motorcycle operator was transported to Erlanger Hospital where he died from the injuries he sustained in the crash.

The name of the victim will not be released at this time until family members can be notified.
