Hamilton County Sheriff's Office Fugitive Division arrest two in East Ridge
The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Division responded to 1417 Wright Street, East Ridge, Tn. at approximately 9:30 a.m. to locate a possible fugitive. Information was received that Herman Vandergriff age 31 could be found at this address. On arrival, Mr. Vandergriff was located and placed in custody at that time. He had outstanding charges that include nine counts of Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card, one count of Identity Theft, one count of Vandalism, one count of Theft over $500.00, one count of Burglary and four counts of Forgery. Also found at the Wright Street address was Daniel Hamilton age 21, who was found to have numerous outstanding charges which include Burglary of an Auto, Theft of Property, Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card, and Burglary.
Both parties were arrested and transported to the Hamilton County Jail to be processed. Fugitive Detectives who were involved in these arrests were, Blake Daniels, Marty Dunn, Ken Cox, Dewayne Brown, David Rodery and James Hobby. The Criminal Investigative Division with the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office and the Chattanooga Police Department will follow up with other possible charges.
