This morning at approximately 7:10 a.m. a school bus traveling south bound on Hixson Pike in the 8100 block, ran off the roadway for unknown reasons, striking a tree. According to law enforcement on scene, six or seven students were transported to an area hospital by Hamilton County Emergency Medical Services for what appeared to be minor injuries.

The crash will be investigated by the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Division and further information will be released as it becomes available.
