The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office received a stabbing call at approximately 12:54 a.m., December 24, 2011 at 938 Wesley Road. When deputies arrived on scene they found Joseph Davies suffering from at least two knife wounds. Information from the victim revealed that he and his wife, Angela Davies became involved in an argument over her spilling a drink in the bed and him saying she could not have anything further to drink.

According to the victim, when he went downstairs to the basement area of the home, she followed him and stabbed him twice with a knife. The victim went to a neighbors to notify police. The victim was transported to an area hospital.

Due to the severity of the victims injuries, Angela Davies was charged with Attempt 1st Degree Murder and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.
