A call was received through the 911 Center this morning at approximately 8:59 a.m. from two boaters regarding a possible dead body. TWRA and the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office responded to 4400 Johnson Road to investigate a boat adrift containing the body of an unknown male.

At this point in the investigation the cause of death is not known and the body was transported to the Hamilton County Medical Examiner’s Office.

The investigation is being handled by both the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office and TWRA.
