This afternoon at approximately 4:33 p.m., Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office was called to 14700 Dayton Pike on a single vehicle traffic crash. When deputies arrived on scene they found that the driver of a 2006 Lincoln Continental had been traveling southbound on Dayton Pike when he crossed the north bound lanes, leaving the roadway and hitting a power pole. The driver was trapped in the vehicle for a time and after he was removed by medical personnel, was transported to an area hospital by Hamilton County Emergency Medical Services for treatment of the injuries he sustained in the crash. The identity of the driver will not be released at this time pending notification of family members.

The cause of the crash is being investigated by Traffic Investigator, Deputy Robert Stockburger.
