Arson Attempt Reported at 7426 Igo Ferry Road

On Tuesday October 2, 2012, Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Deputies were called to 7426 Igou Ferry Road on a delayed fire report. When deputies arrived it was determined that an unknown suspect or suspects had thrown a homemade fire bomb (Molotov Cocktail) through the window of the walk in door to the garage. This incident occurred sometime between 10:00 p.m. and 9:30 a.m. The residence was occupied at the time of the incident but no injuries were reported.
A second attempted arson was discovered on October 3, 2012 where the suspect or suspects utilized a similar tactic to the first attempt reported the previous night. Both attempted arsons were unsuccessful, causing minor damage.
