Electric Wheelchair donated to the Vietnam Veterans of Chattanooga
The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office will be presenting an electric wheelchair to the Vietnam Veterans of Chattanooga Chapter 203 tomorrow, December 27, 2012. The chair was donated to the HCSO by the family of John Lanham, who was a strong supporter of Sheriff Jim Hammond and the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office. Mr. Lanham served for over 30 years with the HCSO in the reserve program and was a veteran of WW 11.
The media is invited to be a part of this event that will take place at the Sheriff’s West Annex located at 6233 Dayton Blvd. tomorrow, December 27, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. The chair will be donated to Charlie Hobbs, who is the president of Vietnam Veterans of Chattanooga Chapter 203.
Please join us tomorrow to show support to the veterans of our military both past and present.
