The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office will be assisting Norfolk Southern Railway January 15, 2013 starting at 8:00 a.m. with the closing of the railroad crossing located in the 1100 block of Thrasher Pike.

This closing is due to repair work that will be done by railroad personnel and will continue until such time as the work is completed. The public will be notified when the crossing is reopened for traffic.

Please advise motorist to avoid this area and to take an alternate route.
