The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office was called to 5104 Wesleyan Road at approximately 9:00 p.m. on February 8, 2013 in reference to a residential structure fire. Witnesses reported seeing smoke and fire coming from the residence and seeing a male party later identified as Richard Lee Dillon walking around the residence with what appeared to be a gas can. The Tri Community Volunteer Fire Department responded to the scene where they worked to get the fire under control.

Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division responded to the scene and determined from witness statements and other evidence that this incident stems from a disorder that took place earlier between Mr. Dillon and a girlfriend.

The homeowner advised the loss value due to the fire is estimated at $100,000.00.

Richard Lee Dillon w/m age 55 was charged with Aggravated Assault, Aggravated Arson, Felony Reckless Endangerment, False Imprisonment and Interference with Emergency Calls. He was transported to the Hamilton County Jail for processing and given a bond of $105,000 bond and a court date of March 4, 2013.
