On April 20, 2012 the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to 15115 Dayton Pike on a reported armed robbery of the Mountain View Pawn Shop. The employee, Jeremy Richard Chambers advised Deputies three black males entered the business, assaulted him then held him at gunpoint while they broke a jewelry display case. The three suspects fled the store taking approximately $60,000 worth of jewelry. He further advised he retrieved a weapon and fired multiple shots at the suspects while they were still inside the business.

Detectives completed a nine month investigation into the alleged robbery and presented this evidence to the Hamilton County Grand Jury. The Grand Jury returned True Bills (indictments) for the offenses of Filing False Reports and Tampering/Fabricating Evidence against Jeremy Richard Chambers. Chambers was transported to the Hamilton County Jail where he was given a $10,000 dollar bond.

Detectives are also seeking information from the public regarding any jewelry which may have come from Mountain View Pawn and or Jeremy Richard Chambers.
