Crisis Intervention Team Training Graduation
The 8th graduation for the Hamilton County/City of Chattanooga Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) training will take place tomorrow, May 10, 2013 3:00 p.m. at the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office West Annex located at 6233 Dayton Blvd.
This highly successful training program was well attended with 22 students representing law enforcement agencies; Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office, Chattanooga Police Department, East Ridge Police Department, 911 Center, Hamilton County Park Rangers, Veteran Affairs Police Services and Department of Veteran Affairs Law Enforcement Training Center from Little Rock, Arkansas. This graduating class brings a total of 174 Emergency Responders who have attended and graduated from this week long training class.
The guest speaker for tomorrows program will be Monica Middlebrooks, who is the prior CIT Program Manager for Hamilton County. Ms. Middlebrooks has since left this position and is now the Executive Director of Juvenile Justice for the State of Tennessee.
