The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office, in cooperation with local and Georgia law enforcement agencies, is conducting an investigation of identity theft, fraud, forgery, and criminal simulation. The suspect appeared on video surveillance while committing a fraud offense in Tucker, GA using stolen information from a business in Hamilton County, TN. The suspect may also have ties to Pensacola, FL. This may be part of a larger check fraud ring working in the southeast.
