The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office was called to the 3000 block of Banks Road today at 2:28 p.m. regarding a traffic crash. When Deputies arrived on the scene, they found a Chevrolet Impala off the roadway lying on its side. The female driver of the vehicle was pronounced D.O.A. at the scene. According to Traffic Investigators, the preliminary report is that weather conditions and speed will be contributing factors in the crash.

The name of the victim will not be released until the next of kin is notified.
