These are not just words, but a commitment to “professional” Law Enforcement. Since 2010, the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office has been preparing for an evaluation by a team of professional assessors chosen by “The Commission on Accreditation of Law Enforcement Agencies” (CALEA), Our on-site assessment is now scheduled for August 25- 28, 2013.

CALEA is recognized worldwide as the best of the best in the development of standards (policies and procedures) that improve service, provide necessary documentation to make informed management decisions, increase readiness in critical situations and improve relationships with the community.

An important component of our goal to provide excellent service is our CITIZEN SURVEY. You can find it on our public web-site (http://www.hcsheriff.gov). Under the General Info tab, you go to Survey and pull up this simple, 10-question, multiple-choice survey.

Your opinions and concerns expressed in our Citizen Survey are very important to us. Your participation in our survey will help us to better understand what is most important to you and your family.
