A single vehicle traffic crash in the 8000 block of Highway 58 was reported to the Hamilton County Sheriff’s at 3:10 p.m. today, August 15, 2014.

The traffic investigation is in the preliminary stages but investigators advised the vehicle, a 2004 Honda was traveling SB on Highway 58. The driver for unknown reasons left the roadway, hitting a ditch causing the vehicle to go airborne, landing in the trees and ejecting the driver who died from the injuries she sustained in the crash.

The single occupant/driver is a w/f age 35. No further information regarding the victim will be released at this time pending notification of the next of kin. Additional information involving the crash investigation will be released as it becomes available.
