Christopher Harp Charged with Theft
The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office, with the full cooperation of the leadership of the Sequoyah Volunteer Fire Department/Marine Rescue has been investigating fuel expense overages related to fuel obtained from the Hamilton County Government gas pumps.
The investigation determined on August 2, 2014, Christopher M. Harp, who is a former member of the Sequoyah Volunteer Fire Department/Marine Rescue, stole fuel from the Hamilton County gas pumps located at 1110 Dayton Blvd. The fuel was pumped into the privately owned vehicle Harp was driving.
Detectives with the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office arrested Christopher M. Harp today, charging him with Theft under $500.00. The investigation is on-going with additional charges expected.
