The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office has been involved in a search for an elderly male, Charles Pittman age 85 since approximately 2:00 p.m. today. The family left the home around 10:00 a.m. and returned at 12:00 p.m. to find him gone from the home. They searched the property and surrounding roads for two hours and did not locate him. They are certain he left walking and has done this before but was found near Hamilton Place Mall area.

Mr. Pittman has some medical issues and suffers from dementia. He was last seen wearing black shoes, blue jeans, white shirt and brown jacket. The picture attached is a good likeness of the victim except he now has a full beard.

The search is continuing as STARS was notified and currently on scene. Please advise the public to be on the lookout for Charles Pittman and if located to contact the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office at 423-622-0022.
