Traffic Fatality
The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office was notified at approximately 4:00 p.m. yesterday afternoon on a traffic crash that occurred at 10200 Lee Hwy. When Deputies arrived they found the incident involved one vehicle, which was a 1993 Chevrolet S 10 truck. Traffic Investigator, Sgt. Mark Kimsey advised the truck was traveling west bound on Lee Hwy. when it left the roadway, striking a dirt driveway culvert.
The driver, Joseph Drew Wilson age 22, did not survive the injuries he sustained in the crash. It was also found the driver had not engaged the safety equipment in the vehicle. The sixteen year old passenger in the truck was found to be wearing his safety equipment and was transported to Erlanger Hospital by Hamilton County Emergency Medical Services.
The investigation is continuing by the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Division.
