The annual "Shred It" event will be held on April 18, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. HCSO along with WDEF Channel 12 and the "Shred It" Company will be at the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office West Annex, located at 6233 Dayton Blvd.

Residents will have the ability to dispose of important papers, medical/tax records etc. in a safe manner to eliminate the possibility of becoming a victim of identity theft.

Residents can also bring old, discarded or unused prescription medication for disposal as well. No needles or sharp objects will be accepted.
