The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Division along with the United States Marshall’s Office and Chattanooga Police Department Fugitive Division, have spent the last two days combing Hamilton County for violators of the Sex Offender Registry.

This is done to ensure that the Hamilton County sex offender registry is compliant as possible with the law and to enhance public safety. It is suggested if the public has concerns, they can access the Tennessee Bureau of Investigations website at www.tbi.state.tn.us for more information on the Tennessee Sex Offender Registry. Anyone interested can also call the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Sex Offender Registry at 423-209-7198.
