UPDATE: Chattanooga Teen Turns Himself In to HCSO Jail Employees
UPDATE: At approximately 10:00 pm last night, September 9, 2015, Deuntray Kellogg turned himself in at the Hamilton County Jail. He was taken into custody by the CPD and will be transferred to the Juvenile Detention Center.
Hamilton County, TN - In a combined effort with the Chattanooga Police Department, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, and local law enforcement, the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office has added 16 year old Deuntray Kellogg to the County's Top 12 Most Wanted.
Earlier today, Mr. Kellogg was added to the State's Top 10 Most Wanted by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.
"The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office will work tirelessly with the Chattanooga Police Department, the TN Bureau of Investigation, and other local law enforcement agencies to bring Deuntray Kellogg swiftly and safely to justice. As an added measure of support and community awareness, I have added him to the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office Top 12 Most Wanted" stated Sheriff Jim Hammond.
"Furthermore, it is important for any members of the community to come forth who may have information that can lead to the whereabouts of this young man," Hammond noted.
On September 7th, the owner of the East Side Market in Chattanooga, Wonsik No, was shot and killed during a robbery.
Deuntray Kellogg has warrants for felony murder, especially aggravated robbery, and unlawful possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony in connection with that crime.
Kellogg is an African American male with black hair and brown eyes. He stands 5 feet 9 and weighs approximately 160 pounds.
