Hamilton County, TN - At approximately 11:00 am today, Tuesday, September 22, 2015, HCSO Deputies were called to 13106 Pierce Drive in Birchwood for a Burglary in Progress call.

Upon arrival, witnesses told HCSO Deputies they saw a male entering the garage at said location and left carrying out a gas can and a weed-eater. Witnesses further identified the suspect as Kelvin Cranfield of 13850 Pierce Road.

Deputies then proceeded to Mr. Cranfield's residence where he was found and arrested. It was also found Mr. Cranfield had an outstanding warrant for vandalism as well for a prior incident.

The property was not recovered.
