Bomb Threat at Howard School
Today at approximately 10:50 a.m. an anonymous bomb threat was called into and received by office staff at Howard High School. School administration made the decision to handle the threat as real and at that time all students were evacuated.
School Resource Officer, Deputy Jeremy Wright requested additional resources to include the Chattanooga Fire Department and the Chattanooga Police Department Bomb Squad. An explosive detecting canine was used to check the campus and nothing was located. The campus was returned to normal at approximately 12:30 p.m.
