Two arrested for auto theft
The recent reports of numerous vehicle burglaries in Hamilton County has put the Deputies working on high alert. On April 21, 2009, the description of a suspected stolen vehicle was distributed to all Sheriff Deputies. The Red Nissan Sentra was observed by Deputy John Spaulding and stopped at the intersection of Dolly Pond and Gamble roads. This investigative stop resulted in the arrest of John Mark Pauley age 49 and Troy Wooten age 31. The Red Nissan was found to have been stolen from the Cleveland area and also contained property from other thefts.
Both John Pauley and Troy Wooten were charged with Theft over $500.00, Burglary of an Auto, Unlawful removal of a State Tag, Illegal use of a tag in the commission of a crime and other traffic offenses. They were transported to the Hamilton County Jail for processing and face a court date in Session Court.
