Hamilton County, TN – Late Sunday night, April 17th, Hamilton County Sheriff's Office Deputies received a BOLO (Be On the Lookout) from dispatch for a possible intoxicated driver and a description of the vehicle.

At approximately 10:45 pm HCSO Deputies located the driver in question and attempted to stop the vehicle. The driver refused to stop for authorities and a pursuit ensued.

After a short pursuit, the driver lost control and was involved in a single vehicle crash. The driver succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased on scene by HCEMS personnel.

The HCSO has requested the Tennessee Highway Patrol to investigate this crash.
