Hamilton County, TN – Earlier this afternoon at approximately 3:30 pm, a 2002 Chrysler PT Cruiser was headed northbound on Middle Valley Road when it left the roadway on the left side of the road and rolled / flipped several times.

The unrestrained driver, Michael Smith of Hixson, (29 year old), was partially ejected and partially entrapped under the vehicle when it came to rest.

The driver was taken to a local hospital in critical condition from injuries sustained in the traffic crash.

The scene of the accident has now been cleared and HCSO Traffic Investigators are currently investigating the cause of the accident.
