Suspect Apprehended with Multiple Felony Warrants

Hamilton County, TN – Just a few moments ago, Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Deputies were involved in a short vehicle pursuit on Highway 153 near the area of Northgate Mall.

For the past several days, HCSO Deputies and CPD Officers have been looking for Dominique Dyshawn Tucker (age 24), a suspect wanted for active felony warrants and a noted person of interest by other law enforcement agencies.

Just moments ago, Tucker was seen driving on Highway 153 by a HCSO deputy. The deputy attempted to pull Tucker’s vehicle over, at which time he failed to stop and a short pursuit ensued. Tucker’s vehicle travelled down Highway 153 and entered the Northgate Mall parking lot.

Deputies were able to stop the vehicle using a patrol unit and Tucker then exited the vehicle and fled on foot. A short foot pursuit ensued and Tucker was eventually tased in an effort to gain compliance and apprehended behind one of the buildings.

Tucker also had a juvenile in the vehicle with him that was transported to a local hospital via HCEMS for medical review.

Tucker is wanted for several active felony warrants and is currently in transport to the Hamilton County Jail. He will also be booked on new charges stemming from today’s events.
