On May 1, 2009, the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division ended a nine month crack cocaine investigation. This investigation targeted a location in the northern part of Hamilton County, at an area nicknamed the “jungle”. It is a wooded area located less than fifty yards from a little league baseball field. The customers would travel from different areas of the county to buy and ingest the drugs, often causing disorders and disrupting community events that were taking place close to this area.

The arrests of Robert Leon Hickey age 46, charged with three counts of Selling a Controlled Substance; Tommy Couch age 38; charged with one count of Aggravated Assault, Sherry Ewton age 27; charged with one count of Selling a Controlled Substance and one count of Theft under $500.00 and Norris Willis age 26; charged with two counts of Selling a Controlled Substance.
