Victim’s Name Released in Last Night’s Mowbray Mountain Fatal Crash

Hamilton County, TN – Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Investigators have released the name of the victim in last night’s fatal car crash on Mowbray Pike.

The victim was Caren Anderson (age 47).

This incident is still under investigation and no further details are available at this time.

Hamilton County, TN – Earlier tonight, at approximately 7:40 pm, HCSO Traffic Investigators were dispatched to 3101 Mowbray Pike to investigate a single vehicle crash near the Sequatchie County line. The accident occurred when a black Toyota 4-Runner ran off the roadway and rolled ejecting the female driver. The driver of the vehicle was pronounced deceased upon arrival of EMS personnel. No other occupants were in the vehicle.

The exact cause of the accident has yet to be determined.

The name of the victim is not being released at this time.
