Miller Family Foundation Donates K9 Vests for Local Law Enforcement
Multiple Law Enforcement Agencies Receive K-9 Vests through Donation from Miller Family Foundation

Hamilton County, TN – On Monday, July 11, 2016 at 9:00 am, the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office, Soddy Daisy Police Department, Collegedale Police Department, and the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office will host a joint press conference at the Hamilton County River Park to honor and recognize the Miller Family and the Miller Family Foundation for their generous donation of (12) new bullet-proof vests for local law enforcement canines.
Members of the Miller Family will be on hand for the occasion.
These new bullet-proof K-9 vests will increase the safety and capabilities of our canines in dangerous situations while performing their daily duties along with their human counterpart (handler).
The total monetary donation given by the Miller Family Foundation for the vests was $12,000.
During the press conference, local law enforcement agencies and K-9 personnel will be on hand to accept the new vests from members of the Miller Family. Media will be able to interview participants and collect appropriate B-Roll.
