Hamilton County, TN – Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Investigators are currently investigating a single vehicle crash involving a motorcycle near the 400 block of Montlake Road near the entrance to the pocket wilderness (Blue Hole). No other vehicles.

Traffic Investigators say the driver of the motorcycle was heading east down the bottom of the mountain.

The driver was transported to a local hospital with critical injuries.

It is still unclear at this time what caused the motorcycle crash.

The accident site has been cleared and Montlake Road has been re-opened at this time.
