The Criminal Investigative Division of the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office received information regarding Sexual Exploitation of a Minor. As the investigation progressed, a search warrant was prepared and served at a Soddy Daisy residence on Friday, May 29, 2009.

When Detectives served the warrant, multiple items of evidence to include, Child Pornography, marijuana and drug paraphernalia were found inside the residence.

The suspect, Michael Wayne Campbell age 45, was arrested and charged with six counts of Aggravated Sexual Exploitation of a Minor, Simple possession of Marijuana and Drug Paraphernalia.

The investigation into the pornography related crimes is on-going. Additional charges are a possibility and may be presented to the Hamilton County Grand Jury at a later date.
