Hamilton County, TN – The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office will have a temporary PIO on duty beginning Friday, February 17, 2017 at 4:00 pm thru Wednesday, March 1, 2017 beginning at 8:00 am.

HCSO Public Information Officer Matt Lea will be out of the office due to the birth of his second daughter which will take place this weekend.

During this time, all media requests should be directed to MediaPIOonDuty@hcsheriff.gov.

As this is the appropriate channel for requesting information, any inquires not forwarded to this email will be answered.

The email above will be automatically directed each day to the appropriate personnel responsible for responding to media inquiries. No direct personnel should be contacted.

Requests for interviews should be made prior to 12:00 pm.

During this time, media representatives could expect minor delays in response times to inquiries.

Normal Public Information Office duties should resume on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at 8:00 am.
